Ask AI is available directly inside the Findings view. It provides quick explanations and remediation guidance for an individual finding based on its context in your environment.
What Ask AI Does
Ask AI helps you understand a specific finding by generating:
- A clear explanation of the issue
- The potential impact
- Practical remediation steps
- Additional context from Jit’s knowledge graph
This is useful for triage, developer support, and quick validation.
How It Works
When you click Ask AI, Jit automatically provides the AI with:
- The finding details
- Severity and category
- The affected resource
- Relevant relationships from the knowledge graph
The response is tailored to your environment—not a generic security description.

You can ask things like:
